I am a Registered Kinesiologist in good standing with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario (CKO). I attended York University holding a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Philosophy. I hold certifications in 200hr Yoga Teacher Training, Mindfulness, Bonefit, and Craving Change.
I have been a practicing kinesiologist for over 10 years offering extensive treatments for those suffering from chronic pain. I most recently spent the last 4 years at Couchiching Family Health Team offering evidence-based exercise and lifestyle counselling to geriatric patients as well as those suffering with chronic health conditions. I have dedicated my career to using evidence-based research and therapies for people with chronic health conditions. I have helped facilitate my patient’s abilities to modify their movements and behaviours working towards living a meaningful and active lifestyle. I have extensive experience working in Health Promotion, rehabilitation, recreation programming and physical activity prescription.
I am currently working as a Behavioural Therapist at Odyssey Health Services, where I provide clinical services. I am currently developing my skills and experience in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
In my personal time I enjoy time with my family and friends, travelling, being in nature, yoga and relaxing.
