Functional Restoration Services (FRS)
Individuals who are referred to FRS have often tried everything to make their problems go away. They want to feel better, and they want something to change. Whether they are experiencing physical discomfort or emotional pain, they feel stuck and any relief they may have found has been short-lived.
While going through change and experiencing pain is an inevitable part of life, how much we suffer along the way can be minimized. By becoming aware of the present moment rather than grieving the past or fearing the future we can reduce our suffering and engage with life challenges in a more encouraging and productive manner.
Our Functional Restoration Services provide individuals with behavioural management for a broad range of physical and mental health difficulties including depressed mood, anxiety, PTSD, post-concussion syndrome, grief, chronic pain, etc.
Patients are seen weekly for an hour usually for 10 to 12 weeks.
