I am a Registered Psychotherapist in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). Educationally, I hold a Master of Arts (MA) in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University, a post-graduate certificate in Addictions: Treatment and Prevention from Georgian College and a Bachelor of Science (BSc.) specializing in psychology with Laurentian University.

Professionally, I have been working with individuals struggling with substance abuse for the past eight years. I have experience working with people experiencing diverse issues in addition to addictions such as mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, and abuse. Modalities that I lean towards in my practice of counselling includes Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). I provide counselling with the goal of helping people manage their struggles and learn new skills in a safe and non-judgemental space. I am also passionate about helping people learn to be more self-compassionate with themselves.

Personally, I reside in Northern Ontario and enjoy many outdoor activities such as hiking, camping and fishing. I also love spending time with my family, especially with my husband and my dog.
