I am a Registered Kinesiologist with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario (COKO) and a graduate of Western University with both a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. My Masters thesis involved studying the effects of aerobic exercise on blood glucose in type 1 diabetes.
I started my career in 2019 and have worked with a variety of different populations and age groups in a community rehab setting. My experience has involved working with individuals recovering from workplace injuries, long-term disability, motor vehicle injuries, concussions, and many other conditions. As a Behavioural Therapist, I utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Behavioural Activation (BA) to support my patients in reaching their goals and living a values-driven life.
In my free time, I enjoy playing and watching sports, my favourite being basketball. I also enjoy spending time with my friends and family, being outdoors and living a healthy lifestyle through fitness, nutrition as well as reading and drawing.
