I am a Registered Psychologist in good standing with the associated colleges. I practice from a trauma informed, client-centred approach and aim to assist people to alleviate suffering and achieve their potential. I enjoy working with people to help them learn to emotionally regulate themselves, to increase their awareness and importance of the mind body connection, and, in turn improve the quality of their lives.
I am passionate about my work, which means that I am continuously learning and improving my skills. I have experience working with multiple populations including underrepresented people who have experienced trauma, addiction, and other adverse life events. Both from clinical and personal experience, I understand the value of the therapeutic relationship and the importance of fostering a safe and non-judgemental atmosphere.
At Odyssey Health Services I am part of an interdisciplinary team that provides assessment and treatment to people who have been away from work due to illness or injury. The goal of our service is to assist people to increase their functionality and resume the meaningful lives they lived prior to being away from work.
When not at work, I appreciate what beautiful British Columbia has to offer and enjoy hiking, biking, and walking along the ocean. I also am fond of yoga and how much fun it can be when you invite your cat!
