I am a behavioural therapist with a strong background in Kinesiology. I obtained my Bachelor of Arts degree (with specialized honors) in Kinesiology from the University of Western Ontario.
I have had a significant amount of training and experience working with a challenging population for over 5 years. My role includes working with an interdisciplinary team of professionals to provide care for those who have been off work for a significant amount of time. I specialize in working with those who struggle with chronic pain and/or chronic mental health difficulties. My role involves development and implementation of behavioural activation programs combined with the tools and strategies of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help individuals reach their functional goals including gainful employment and other personal goals.
In order for myself to maintain a positive work-life balance, I spend time outside of work playing sports and spending time with family and friends.
