I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapist of Ontario (CRPO). I am also a member in good standing with OACCPP. I have my Masters degree in counselling psychology from the Adler School of Professional Psychology and graduated with an Honours degree in psychology from Queen’s University. I have experience in providing psychotherapy, including various forms of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, to individuals and couples, dealing with a variety of emotional and psychosocial issues.
My current area of focus is return to work rehabilitation using Behavioural Activation (BA) strategies as well as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I have been working as a psychotherapist since 2002 treating clients in private practice and as part of several multi-disciplinary chronic pain facilities.
I believe in maintaining a healthy work-life balance. In my spare time I enjoy running, reading, skiing and love to spend time with my three children, family and friends.
