I am a Registered Psychotherapist in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) with over 10 years of extensive clinical experience treating adults with both mental and somatic health difficulties.
I obtained my Masters of Science Degree in Counselling from Barry University in Miami, Florida with a specialization in Clinical Mental Health and Family/Marriage Therapy and two Bachelor’s Degrees in Psychology (Honours) and Criminology from St. Mary’s University, Halifax, Nova Scotia. In my sessions, I utilize, but not limited to, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Behavioural Activation and mindfulness.
I am a member of both the Canadian Counseling and Psychotherapy Association and the American Psychological Association. I am also a Certified Substance Abuse Coach.
I am currently the Director of Clinical Services at Odyssey Health Services, where I provide training, supervision and clinical services.
In my personal time, I enjoy traveling throughout the world and spending quality time with family and friends. Creating meaningful memories and practicing mindfulness is very important to me!
