I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), as well as a Canadian Certified Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). I completed an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Neuroscience and Behaviour at McMaster University, and a Master’s of Education in Counselling Psychology at the University of Ottawa.
I have over eight years of combined experience in clinical and counselling psychology. I have worked with adults struggling with a wide range of concerns, including mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, stress, addictions, relationship and workplace difficulties. I have education and experience using a variety of 3rd generation cognitive behavioural therapies, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Solutions-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and am currently being certified in Trauma Care.
I strongly believe that people have unique strengths and struggles, and that we all need to feel heard and understood. I have always considered it a privilege to walk alongside people through their journeys, and help them make meaningful changes. My goal is to empower people and provide them an environment that feels safe, sincere, compassionate, and productive.
Outside of work, I enjoy quality time spent with my family and friends, in nature, cooking, reading, and trying new things (especially food!).
