I am a registered psychologist with the College of Psychologists of Ontario (CPO). I practice in the areas of Clinical and Rehabilitation Psychology with adults. I am experienced in using techniques from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Behavioural Activation (BA), and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), as well as integrating these approaches in a broader transtheoretical and biopsychosocial model of human suffering and challenges.
I work with people who have a wide variety of presenting concerns, and often multiple complex difficulties, including depression, anxiety, trauma, chronic pain, and other chronic health problems. I also help people with more general concerns in interpersonal relationships and communication, occupational challenges, low self-esteem, and building rewarding and meaningful habits of behaviour.
I completed my undergraduate training at the University of Toronto in 2009, with a double major in Psychology and Bioethics. I attended the Memorial University of Newfoundland for my graduate training in psychology (Psy.D., Doctor of Psychology), completed in 2018. I have been working with Odyssey Health Services since 2017.
Outside of work, I enjoy gardening (and especially growing fruits and vegetables), playing video games with friends, learning about personal finance, playing volleyball, and spending time with my family.
